We are looking forward to taking part in the ESBiomech_2021 conference next week! Two of our ESRs, Agnese Lucchetti and Matt, will be giving oral presentations. Come and join their sessions! Programme available: esbiomech.org/conference/esb…

Also, Agnese Lucchetti will present her work on "A Comparative Study Of The Mechanical Performance Of Niti And Bioresorbable PLLA Braided Stents" in the Implants and Devices for Cardiovascular Applications session at the ESBiomech_2021 conference at 11am!

I'm happy to have had the possibility to present my work at the #ESBBiomech2021. It was such a great experience! Congratulations to the Politecnico di Milano group for the great organisation! BioImplant ITN European Society of Biomechanics

Well done to everyone that presented our work at the #ESBiomech2021 conference! A new format for many of us, but an excellent job by LaBS Polimi in creating such a great conference experience. We look forward to the next European Society of Biomechanics meeting!

Nice to see ESRs offering support and advice to each other today in their ESR-led web meeting on the topic of Tips & Tricks for Conference Presentations. Thanks to ESR Rep Agnese Lucchetti for organising and to all ESRs for contributing!

Today we are at @2021Esb! At 2.30pm, Agnese Lucchetti is displaying her work on "Experimental and Computational Investigation of the Performance of Braided PLLA Stents" in PS1-09 - Biomaterials for Cardiovascular Applications.

Great for our BioImplant ITN ESRs to finally meet in-person again, joined by DELIVER Project- MSC-ITN ESRs, for our long-awaited industry training workshop delivered by Boston Scientific ahead of the @bini_2022 conference!

Today I presented my work within BioImplant ITN at @bini_2022, for the first time in person after the pandemic. It was a great feeling to be in front of a real audience and to network with other colleagues in the field. Thanks to the organizers to have given me this possibility!

Three years separate these two pictures: first and last meeting of BioImplant ITN. Three years that flew, a pandemic in between...We managed and now it's time to finalize our projects and face new adventures. Good luck to you all, it was a pleasure to share this trip with you.☺️

PAPER OUT! 📝 My first paper as a first author is finally out! 😄 To know more on manufacturing and characterization of #bioresorbable #braided #stent follow the link below! The article is free to download for the next 50 days! BioImplant ITN authors.elsevier.com/c/1gABZ6EHNel2…

PAPER OUT! 📝 Delighted to share my first paper as first author about the effects of in-vitro induced #AGE accumulation on cortical #bone fracture mechanics 🦴 in @MechBioMat. The article is free to download until 2nd Feb authors.elsevier.com/c/1gFYd6EHNel2… Ted Vaughan

Delighted to share my first paper as first author. This work investigates bone fragility in a Type-2 Diabetic animal model and is available online! 🦴 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36646266/ Ted Vaughan

Glad to have presented my recent work about #simulation of the deployment of #bioresorbable #braided #stents in a #patient #specific scenario at the CMBBE Symposium in the beautiful city of Paris! It was great to reunite with many colleagues and to meet new ones.
