The Diabetologia #OpenAccess study from Amelia Linnemann, Ph.D. provides evidence of islet macroautophagy/crinophagy impairment in human #T1D and demonstrates altered lysosome content that may be associated with lysosome dysfunction before clinical hyperglycemia.
