My mother had been in the hospital since Monday with complications related to dementia. As an only child, I’ve never felt the weight of not having siblings until now, when also helping my father who is also not in the best shape. Appreciate your prayers for the coming days.

Church is a little different this morning. Day 7 of a difficult medical journey with mom. Thankful for the team at WakeMed & for our The Summit Church family. Continued prayers for the days ahead are appreciated.

A sad and infuriating end for those of us who once called this our church. While I’ve been in a healthy congregation for 8 yrs, this still stings. Likely no true closure to come from this- just an endless list of questions. And a healthy skepticism of church leaders.
