I have seen a media release from the Act Party suggesting that the Business Committee decided that the House would sit this week. It did not. It can’t override the SOs which allow the PM (who already has DG Health advice) to advise the Speaker to defer sitting 1/2

The only decision taken was that while any part of the country is at Level 3 or 4 there will be no proxy voting limits - so that there is no need for MPs to travel from those areas.

Great to see the New Zealand Labour team with the PM today, officially opening the Transmission Gully motorway. After lengthy delays to the opening of this road because of National’s botched Public Private Partnership, we have cleaned up their mess for commuters going in and out of WLG.

We have two choices when it comes to Three Waters - reform or ignore. If we reform, we get what we need at a price we can afford. If we ignore then we're buggered. Councils won't be able to afford it, so it won't get done.

It seems this current government have yet to encounter a red neck they don’t want to scratch. They use all things Māori as a wedge to divide New Zealand, when we should do the opposite. We should be bringing people together.
