How are players scoring in the NCAA tournament? Catch & shoot Pick & roll DHO One/two dribble pull ups Rips, pivots & jabs Two foot finishing Very few ISOs and not a lot of dribbling If your goal is to play in college.. are you working on these things DAILY?

It’s hard to do boring things over and over again. Basketball is about doing the boring things over and over and over again. Every day…for years.

Teaching players how to rip, pivot & Jab is more important than ever - at the younger levels, you see “hot potato” with the ball more than ever because players aren’t taught how to take space and keep space with jabs and pivots

We had a great transfer portal basketball camp at USD last weekend. One of the best parts of it was the end of camp message from NBA vet + our men’s basketball assistant coach, Earl J Watson. Great for players, parents, and coaches in any sport to hear. Earl is a real one.

Hoopers 🏀 Tune into the Final Four tonight: What you’ll see •Catch and shoot 3s •One/two dribble pull ups •Two foot finishes •Ball/player movement What you (more than likely) won’t see a lot of •ISOs •Over dribbling •Selfish basketball

Young athletes, don’t get discouraged of you don’t have the early success you desire. Remember people physically develop at a different rate. Things even out Jr-Sr year. Stay the course. My son was 5’7” as a 8th grader. Graduated 6’4 and 180 as a senior. The tides turned.

The older I get the more I realize: • Silence is a response • Being unbothered is a skill • No is a full sentence • Most "urgent" things can wait • Respect > Attention • Apologies are empty without change • Movement is medicine • You're not for everyone, and that's fine

1-0 good guys …. This old school hoop… must box out if you miss an assignment or a defensive stance/ don’t sprint or catch the ball w two hands play off 2 feet you will be on the bench
