I feel really positive after last night’s initial Army Cadet Multicultural Network meeting. As Contingent Commander at Moor End Academy CCF, it’s essential that I have a clear understanding of huge range of cultural backgrounds of my cadets. Yesterday Army Cadets - Lead D&I Advisor and the County Engagement Officer from our Annual Camp buddies, Warwickshire and West Midlands ACF, joined our Annual Camp adult briefing. It was a brilliant session and helped get us ready for working together at the focal point of our training year.

Cadets and volunteers completed two sea dives today for their #PADI course, reaching nearly 10m! 🐙⭐️ They tested their skills, met underwater wildlife, and ended with kit debriefs to stay sharp for tomorrow. 🐠🤿 #Adventure #Teamwork West Midland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association ACCT UK Official Staffs Friends ACFT

Today is the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers. A day to pay tribute to uniformed and civilian personnel supporting peacekeeping. Did you know over two million peacekeepers, including Army Chaplains, have served in 70+ UN peacekeeping operations since 1948? #PKDay

Great start to the Army Cadets UK Well-being Conference. Army Cadets Head of Wellbeing led with theme of Empower, Energise and Elevate. The care of our cadets and adult volunteers improves with understanding of diverse needs and great potential. Col Van- Tam focusing on leadership under pressure

Great group of Army Cadets UK CFAVs through the Diversity and Inclusion Allies Course today! Thoughtful in their discussions about how to support and learn about others whilst also giving people a voice so everyone feels heard and valued! Well done :)👍

Delighted and grateful to have been nominated and selected as a finalist in #SoldieringOnAwards2025 Great opportunity to promote the brilliant work being done by so many CFAVS and Army Cadets to improve Diversity and Inclusion across our fantastic Army Cadets UK National Colonel Cadets

Great news: MOD targets 30% growth in cadet forces by 2030 🇬🇧 More opportunities for young people to gain skills, confidence & experiences - & vital investment in training and supporting the adult volunteers who make it all possible. #CadetForces #Youth ukdefencejournal.org.uk/mod-eyes-30-in…
