The Abington Fire Department gratefully and proudly accepted delivery of the new Ambulance One from Specialty Vehicles, Inc. This ambulance purchase was approved at the May 2023 Town Meeting.

Last night at 7:45pm crews responded to a structure fire at 439 Washington St, a specialized group home in town. Fire crews reported heavy fire on the exterior of the building, determining the exterior gas line to the building was the source of the fire due to a lightning strike.
