It’s Election Day. You know the drill. We have 14 constitutional amendments on the ballot. An open mayoral seat, city controller race, and several city council races. So far, we are hearing of very few issues across the 701 polling locations in Harris Co.

Now all of Brazoria & Wharton County are under a Hurricane Warning. A Hurricane Watch has also been issued for Galveston Island. #Beryl’s track has continued to shift ever so slightly east, raising our chance of receiving bigger impacts from Beryl. ABC13 Houston

At what point do we question the infrastructure in Texas, and how things are set up? I lived in Florida for seven years, and covered countless hurricanes and natural disasters. Was never in a prolonged outage, nor did things feel chaotic and discombobulated.
