Never ceases to amaze how much time people are willing to put into hating this woman because...? Who knows. Sure, it's a kinda cringe clip. Sure she's come off as tone deaf and you may not like her or whatever. But the hate following just for the sake of hate following is weird

When we're told "I hate DEI because it's racist" it's important to hear what's actually being said: "I hate DEI because I'm racist" nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/tr…

One of the unexpected roles I've picked up in the church I serve is hosting their podcast. Today we just dropped an episode interviewing Andrew Torrance (School of Divinity, University of St Andrews/Andrew Torrance) about his book Accountability to God (OUPReligion, 2023). Give it a listen! open.spotify.com/episode/7zvnvc…

"If the ancient adage 'lex orandi, lex credendi' is remotely true, then we learn something about what we actually believe by the prayers we do and do not pray and... the proclamations we do and do not say." - Daniel Horan, Catholicity and Emerging Personhood (p. 38)

The idea that a public-facing canon lawyer is somehow "obsessed" with someone because she's talking about them in the context of one of the more bizarre canonical residency situations in recent years is absurd

Overdue update, but since I submitted my candidacy application for the ordination process and am literally at the 2025 NC assembly right now, I figured it's time

Very disappointing to see Union Pres. Seminary kill residential study. I benefited so much from the community of scholars gathered there and for years have very happily recommended it to people looking at MDiv programs. I don't know that I'll be able to do that anymore, though
