Last week, the #EP made it very clear that an EU-wide #PositiveList is needed to prevent unsuitable wild animals from becoming pets. Big shout out to Eurogroup For Animals & FOUR PAWS Europe for their leadership & big thank you to all MEPs that showed their commitment to animal welfare.

AAP took in nine sugar gliders that were living underneath a staircase in a Dutch family home. 3 years ago, they started out with 2 animals, now the family grew to 9 sugar gliders. The situation became untenable. #WildAnimalsNotPets

Serval Kylie was rescued by Guardia Civil during an investigation into wildlife crime & illegal trade in protected species. After staying at AAP Spain, she moved to her forever home at our French outplacement partner Spaycific’Zoo. She also found a companion! #WildAnimalsNotPets

Crab-eating raccoon Rocket boarded a Maersk ship in Panama and ended up traveling all the way to the Port of Rotterdam. The crew lovingly cared for her during the voyage. We picked Rocket up in Rotterdam and brought her to our rescue centre in Almere. bit.ly/3HfKxus
