Cagnei has had her sights on this record since moving up in distance to focus on the 5k a couple of years ago. I’m proud and happy that her perseverance, hard work, and race execution last night resulted in accomplishing that goal!

My mid distance crew impressed me with their speed during 200s today, so I wanted to test mine! Still got it? I didn’t hurt myself so counting it as a pretty major victory

Legs are a bit sore today, finding it a little sad that sprinting for 26.2 seconds has me feeling similar to how running 26.2 miles a few years ago felt!
