Josiah Andrés Felipe Quintero Moreano I'm pretty certain this is because of the R community's decision to seclude itself to obscure mastodon instances and LinkedIn; isolating itself from all other communities . This reduced R's growth and popularity even further. Now, you don't hear about R unless you already use it.

Any of my data science twitter connections have any experience using an ultrawide monitor? Been trying one out recently and can't decide if I like it or not. Great for displaying both a script and a terminal, viewing data etc, not so great for other stuff. Can't decide.

Agree with all of this, and surprised at how many boxes #RStats ticks. Ark is going to boost it to 99% IMO, but I'm still holding out for a branding/website refresh.

Somehow ended up getting gifted a ticket to see Billy Joel in Cardiff tonight (I actually am a big fan). Highlight was deffo when he brought his mega cute daughters on for a song and one shouted ‘Come on London!’. Cardiff was the only place in the UK they played 😂

#RStats gripe: I wish R supported .Rprofile files at *both* the user and project levels. As things are I don't keep a user-level .Rprofile because remembering to source it whenever I use a project level one is too annoying.
