Jordan Kyrou’s no-trade clause went into effect today, meaning he could veto any potential trade the Blues might try to make for him. This matters because Kyrou was thought to be on the trading block in an effort to free up cap space. Any move could become more difficult now.

The Blues have traded Zack Bolduc to Montreal for D Logan Mailloux. The 22 y/o had 2G/2A in 7 games w/MON in 25. 2x AHL All Star, AHL All Prospects Team for 24-25. ANALYSIS: This makes sense bc Blues need D & have bodies to spare up front. The risk is Bolduc’s very high ceiling.

The Blues have signed C Nick Bjugstad to a two-year deal totaling $3.5 million ($1.75 million AAV). He’s 32, played in more than 700 games, and will be playing for his seventh team. He had 8G/11A in 66 games last year.
