This is pretty awesome, free USB 2.0 soft PHY IP! I have so many projects that can benefit from it, I don't need any external USB 2.0 bridge (etc. FT2232H) to stream data anymore!

Cool! The upcoming Raspberry Pi 5 has 2 MIPI camera connectors! This makes it suitable for #StereoNinja 🤩 Plus it supports 4 MIPI lanes (per camera) and has a better GPU. So maybe we can get more fps and a lower latency with it! raspberrypi.com/products/raspb…

This is totally crazy! The GOWIN SEMICONDUCTOR GW1NR9 on the Sipeed Tang9k is able, with timing closure!!, to do 672Mbit/sec with my passive resistor MIPI D-PHY and own MIPI core. The Raspberry Pi4 sucessfully decode the send MIPI CSI2 stream over a 0.3m FPC cable. A 15$ FPGA board🤯
