Game three will haunt me forever

There was a world where the Leafs lost that game, and I could look at it with a level head. It was Game 7 against the Champs, but that's only a worthwhile talking point if you make it a real hockey game. We are not in that world.

There was a way for the Leafs to lose that game and that series while salvaging some dignity. That’s not what happened.

It is fine to criticize Marner’s play and how his camp has conducted themselves, because it is deserved. It is absolutely not fine to throw garbage (or anything) on his property or accost him in public. There is a line and that is very much over the line.
