I’m in an Uber, on my way home from the gig. I’ve had a few beers. Remember The Fly movie? I wish we had those teleportation machines (but without the little fly). I just want to be home.

I remember when I moved to London I couldn’t open an account at Lloyd’s in Crouch End because they didn’t accept the Irish passport as valid ID. I didn’t go on Newsnight to complain; I just went next door to Barclays. Nigel is such a drama Queen.

I’m off to see Space The Band Official on Saturday. Flying from Portugal in a few hours, to watch them in sunny Ashford, Kent. I love this band. What makes it even better is my mate, Kevin Iverson is supporting them. I’ll have my dancing shoes on.

When I was 10, my Mum & Dad took me on a camping holiday to Brittany, France. We could still get BBC Radio 1 in the car. Steve Wright was a daily ritual. “Sittin’ at a bus stop with a vacant stare, tap him on the head but there’s nobody there. Mr Spoon!” #SteveWright

I haven’t tweeted for a long time. Ever since it’s all changed! But today, and for the next few days, I’m travelling. My musician Dad died a year ago. He left me all of his instruments and equipment. I’m off to England to organise it all. A bitter sweet journey.

A mad few days. A bit emotional. Everything is sorted, and I’m almost home. My guitar had its own seat.

This year, September’s starting early! It’s my favourite time of year to do gigs in #Albufeira. It’s hot, but it’s not deadly, and all the wonderful people that come seem to know each other. I’ll be in Steps EVERY NIGHT, Jack’s on Wednesdays & The Padel Club on Sundays.
