As someone who does S&C for a living: It’s not probably not going to win you more games. You still can’t suck at your sport. Will it (or should it) transfer some skill? Yes. Will it help with availability? It should. It teaches discipline. But it’s just a piece of the puzzle.

I think one of the biggest struggles that HS S&C coaches wrestle with (who are making the jump from college to HS) is catering to HS kids. These kids don’t need fancy training, crazy methods, etc…They need consistency and to check boxes. All the other stuff (IMO) is fluff.
