A great day yesterday at Gloucester Park for the Summer Jam where there was bmx-ing, scooters, blading and skateboarding. It was a brilliant turnout and massive well done to all the guys involved for putting on such a great event.

A massive thankyou to Darren Simms & Zak Roby from Sterling Security Solutions for supplying the security for the knife collection box & for their generous donation of £200 to go towards the new knife surrender box - this will be at every monthly half marathons

Great to be part of Gloucestershire College’s freshers fair today. We met some lovely students and staff today and it was great to be able to spread the word about the charity and the monthly half marathon challenge. Big thanks to Lisa from GlosCol for inviting us in again

No 4 1/2 marathon 2m. I’ll be running in memory of Dalton Powell (with the blessing of his family) who sadly & tragically died 9 yrs ago. Anyone wishing to join I’ll be starting at 11am from the bandstand in Gloucester park.

We were invited by Dawn Young (FACES) from the Patchway Youth Club to deliver a music workshop to young people from across different youth provisions in South Glos. It was great to meet you all and hear about the brilliant youth work being done in South Glos.

Another knife taken off the streets & a metal detector generously donated to us. This will help us hugely in recovering & collecting knives & trying to help make our city and our streets safer ✌️ If you have knives you’d like to dispose of safely please email [email protected]

Increase the Peace are privileged to be attending and supporting the Skate4Josh event on Saturday at Jubilee Skate Park in Cam. The event is on 2pm-7pm. It’s sure to be a good event with a skate comp, games, stalls, music, food and more. It’ll be great to see you there! ✌️

One of our mentoring sessions with a young person where we went fishing; building on their confidence & self-esteem & having the opportunity to engage in a positive & constructive activity. We didn’t catch anything though! 🫣😂 but it’s the taking part that matters right?! ✌️
