The biggest thing is teaching players when to use finishes. You can only do that with defense. There is a time and place for both one foot and two foot finishes. That being said, yes, playing off two feet more would benefit EVERYONE

Youth coaches play zone because they care more about winning an 11U game than developing their players. However, that being said, if you went off the level of shooting and teams’ ability to attack different zones…playing zone would actually make complete sense…hate it though

Shooting 35 threes a game is a great goal, but I always like to look at it as a rate or percentage. Some games are played at a different pace and what if you can say get to the rim in transition more in a given game. We want 3’s to be at least 40%-45% of our shots, if not more

The older I get, the more I realize that success at most things isn't about finding the one trick or secret nobody knows about. ㅤ It's consistently doing the boring, mundane things everyone knows about but is too unfocused/undisciplined to do. ㅤ Get good at boring.

The higher you get in level it’s harder to take away the rim and the 3 defensively. You almost have to build your defense to really take away one or the other. Agree or disagree?

Changing and improving your life requires you to destroy a part of yourself and replace it with a newer, better part of yourself. ㅤ Therefore, growth is, by definition, painful.

Seeing all these sets and actions on here. It’s important to remember: High school spacing does not = college spacing. College spacing does not = NBA spacing. Etc.

The older I get, the more I realize some people waste their entire lives fearing the judgement of people who were never even thinking about them. Nobody is thinking about you. Everybody is too busy thinking about themselves. That thing you’ve always wanted to do? Go do it.
