I've never seen someone save and invest and NOT build wealth. I've never seen someone enter into a caloric deficit and NOT lose weight. This isn't hard. The problem is you just don't want to do it.

You're right, I am lucky. I'm lucky that I chose to go to college, worked my ass off (including nights and weekends), controlled my expenses and lived well below my means for years to achieve financial independence. Lucky I made all of those decisions.
