Today’s Annular Eclipse from Tucson!

Last night I did some quick shots between some fast moving clouds to capture the Moon, Jupiter, and Jupiter’s moons (zoom into the bottom left to see).

On Tuesday night, J3 pointed out the moon peeking through some clouds on our way home from jiu-jitsu. I had to grab J2’s camera & capture it while the sun was setting. While processing this, I couldn’t help but think of Astro Large. RIP, astro legend! Waxing Crescent 11%

Through the clouds I was able to capture the partial eclipse here in Tucson. I borrowed J2’s Canon DSLR & snapped some pictures through our telescopes solar cover. I had to use some tape as the solar cover is a lot bigger than the front of the camera lens, but it worked!
