Jamiu Ninilowo Boluwatife has been training in NYC for the past 6 weeks. He’s not just training, it’s complete chess immersion. Each day spending 10+ hours practicing tactics, Grandmaster led lessons, playing in USCF rated matches, reviving those games with Abimbola Ayo Osunfuyi♟️, and opening prep.

With the goal to make USCF Master still a possibility, & optimism still the preferred currency, Jamiu Ninilowo Boluwatife must finish on an incredible run these final two weeks to reach his goal. We must make chess master, if we don’t achieve it, we must show courage in our efforts. Week # 7

Today was Jamiu Ninilowo Boluwatife final day of intensive chess training camp in NYC. The past 9 weeks have been equal parts brutal, exhausting, frustrating, yet life changing, exhilarating and filled with new opportunities. The rest is his story to tell.
