May is Polish Heritage Month! 🇵🇱 In the 20th century, many Polish Canadians made their way to Etobicoke - bringing their vibrant culture. I was proud to second Liberal motion M-75, officially declaring May as Polish Heritage Month across Canada.

Nova Poshta, Ukraine’s #1 private courier, was ahead of the curve—solar-powered local offices meant they could invite neighbours in to charge up and connect during blackouts. A pleasure to meet with Dennis Bazilevych & Yevhen Tryshyn on growing 🇺🇦-🇨🇦 business ties.

This morning I met with Sikyong Penpa Tsering, leader of the Central Tibetan Administration—the democratic gov’t-in-exile defending Tibetan culture & human rights. Proud to stand with Etobicoke–Lakeshore’s Tibetan community at the TCCC joined by MPs Karim Bardeesy & Arif Virani.

Congratulations to our new Cabinet team. Canadians gave us a clear mandate for urgent, determined action—and I know this team will deliver. Proud to see my friend John Zerucelli represent Etobicoke on the national stage. Wishing you all every success in these critical roles. 🇨🇦

Today is Vyshyvanka Day — a celebration of Ukrainian culture and resilience. 🇺🇦 Here in Etobicoke-Lakeshore, we’re proud to be home to a vibrant 🇺🇦 community. Wearing this Vyshyvanka is a tribute to their strength, history, and hope. Canada stands with Ukraine. Slava Ukraini.

An incredible honour to join the Prime Minister @markjcarney and colleagues, at the inaugural mass of Pope Leo XIV in St Peter’s Square. Truly inspiring to hear his message of peace.
