ahem "clears throat" there are, as of 2016 approx 84,300 people in prisons in the UK, 15% of them are there for drug offences, that's about 12,645 people. 12,645 people! In Jail! lives ruined, & drug offences do not even get a mention in my 914 pg textbook on criminal law!
