Just emerged from penultimate performance of The Pillowman. Definitely best theatre I’ve seen this year. Entire cast excellent but Lily Allen was a revelation.

The Pillowman is my favourite British play of this century, and I was thrilled to see it again 20 years after being dazzled by it at the National. This production made me cry (which even the original didn’t) and reconnected me with my Show Mojo post the covid era. Bravos to all.

Lily Allen was fantastic in The PillowMan tonight. A great play about society based on trauma and the role of the artist. I went in not knowing what to expect but was super impressed. Whole cast were fantastic
