Was a privilege to call Ian my friend. It means a lot that the club have established this award in his honour. I'd encourage all Reds to nominate anyone who, like him, makes life better for fellow United fans

On the 24th April, in the year of our Lord 2024, Manchester United finally have a positive goal difference in the Premier League.

Felt like I left Wembley with a form of PTSD on Sunday but the sun is shining in Manchester and I'm ready to climb back on the horse to cheer the plucky Reds.

Genuinely can't remember feeling this way after a game that United have 'won' - making a cup final is always something to be cherished but that performance should be damned. Genuinely feel for the Coventry team and fans who didn't deserve to lose and were a credit to their club.

I love the FA Cup. Some of my happiest football memories are of United in the FA Cup. These proposals suggest those responsible for stewarding the competition simply don't understand it.

Fair play to United for clocking early that the English teams in Europe would implode so not worth the bother of going for fifth...

This won't come as a surprise to anyone unfortunate enough to have to use Avanti services. The contract renewal was a scandalous decision

I've had the good fortune to watch United play in more FA Cup semifinals than I can remember. I'm able to take it as given that I'll come home safely. It shames those in positions of authority at the time that that wasn't always the case.

My favourite United goal was scored 30 years ago today. Sums up everything the club should be about: throwing caution to the wind refusing to give up in the pursuit of glory. I fell in love with my team that day and have never looked back

The rejuvenation of the United Academy and the renewed importance of young players in the United first team is an excellent legacy from a genuinely good man's time at our club.

An important reminder that the government isn't in the business of saving football, it's in the business of saving itself.
