It’s always a pleasure to catch up with my friend Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Marc Miller Marc Miller ᐅᑭᒫᐃᐧᐅᓃᐸᐄᐧᐤᐃᔨᐣ. This morning, we discussed immigration programs and areas where federal and territorial priorities align.

We gathered the Legislative Assembly for National Day of Mourning to honour those who have been affected by workplace tragedies. Thank you to Minister responsible for the Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission David Akeeagok for the invitation on this important day.

Dropped in on the Skills Canada Nunavut event being held at Inuksuk HS. Youth from all over Nunavut are participating this weekend. This organization empowers our youth with hands-on opportunities to learn about our territory's trades and technology sectors. Good luck tomorrow!

Proud to be a part of this moment at the Nunavut Mining Symposium Gala last night. The Government of Nunavut's devolution team received recognition for their work and significant contributions. We accepted on behalf of everyone who worked so hard for this success.
