Rewatched Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One (2016) today and it’s still great. Genuinely my favourite SW movie and one of the only SW media pieces I rate a 10/10 score, which makes it really special, because the only other projects I rate a 10/10 score is Andor and The Original Trilogy.

Vader being used in R1’s ending as a way of showing his absolute strength both as the Emperor’s enforcer and the second most powerful being in the galaxy when merking the rebels on The Profundity was perfect. Also, seeing Gold squadron, which was fan service, but I loved that.

I started watching The Pitt and it’s good so far. Good pilot. 👍

Rewatching The Batman for the 20th time

My favourite aspect of Matt Reeves’ interpretation on Batman is the way he’s portrayed like a boogeyman. Bruce’s opening monologue makes that perfectly clear to the viewer. Just through a 1 minute monologue and the one guy being scared shitless when looking down the street.

My double feature today was amazing, dawg. Fun fact: Grieg Fraser and Michael Giacchino both worked and played a big part of creating Rogue One and The Batman. Grieg Fraser directing the cinematography. Michael Giacchino composing the soundtrack.

Love the way this scene is shot and the soundtrack used in creating a sense of dread. Love Arcane Season2 Episode 4 so much.

Arcane Season 1 Episode 6 is definitely one of the best episodes of Season 1, but it’s so difficult for me to rank the episodes, because I love them all so much. Jinx asking Vi “are you real” makes me emotional on every rewatch. 10/10 season of television.
