▪️Draconian anti-protest laws ▪️Unnecessary Voter ID requirements ▪️Anti-trade union laws ▪️Restricting access to justice The Tories are attacking the public’s right to peacefully protest, to vote, to strike and to get legal redress. We won’t give up these rights. #KillTheBill

I am so furious about this case. And my thoughts go out the Child Q and her family who will now be forced to relive the trauma of the incident, given the scale of the attention that this case has now received.

It really beggared belief! Made to wait in a side street with no shelter from rain showers, no seating, no nearby accessible toilets, told to filter into march 7 blocks in, access to P Green, unsafe ramps and a viewing area that only offered views of trees and bloody statues!!

All Labour MPs should support these fully justified strikes. Going on protests, supporting picket lines, putting our side of the story to the media is socialism 101 for MPs.

Proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with CWU Dave Ward at BT Tower in central London on the picket line with striking BT workers this morning. Britain deserves and needs a pay rise; I’ll always stand with workers demanding their fair share and defending our our freedoms.

Just to confirm that no ballots for Disabled Members Rep have gone out. I have been re-elected to the NEC uncontested. Thanks to my union Unite for their continued support as well as ASLEF, CWU, FBU, GMB, Musician's Union, TSSA, Unison, USDAW ✊

In months ahead we need to be clear - there’s only 2 ways the cost of living crisis can be tackled and we can’t let it be through workers paying for it through pay cuts and price rises…#EnoughIsEnough tribunemag.co.uk/2022/08/why-tr…

MPs and Lords now formally calling for a recall of Parliament to agree emergency actions to address cost of living crisis. Action is needed urgently.

Keir's speech today was entirely centred on working people It's disappointing that the vision he set out isn't one for all of us: #Lab22

The Home Secretary just stood up in Parliament and described asylum seekers arriving in the UK as "an invasion". Exactly the kind of inflammatory rhetoric that stokes people towards acts of violence like yesterday's petrol bombing in Dover. Despicable.

What Gary Lineker has done is to have awakened the country to the Government's plans for dealing with migrants and hopefully forced us all to understand the humanitarian consequences, and involve us all, at home and abroad, in finding a solution.

The Labour party has sparked anger over its “shameful” and “inexcusable” failure to promise a public inquiry into deaths linked to the actions of the Department for Work and Pensions if it wins power at the next general election. buff.ly/3POcPOc
