Even though I got diagnosed in 2023 with “Asperger’s syndrome” instead of autism spectrum , I have made my peace with it . So many autistics don’t even get diagnosed in their lifetime . Getting no diagnosis at this point would’ve been lot worse.

I feared I won’t get my diagnosis for autism because a lot of the symptoms start in childhood and I don’t remember a lot of my childhood. I don’t remember if I had any speech delays , if I didn’t know to pretend play etc . #autism #askingautistics

#askingautistics So I was on a 3 day trial for an internship and the Hirer said i had displayed good work ethic , was polite , good communicator, great portfolio, only positive things etc but that they wont hire me. Has this happened to any other autistics 2?
