just wrapped up my last day of teaching at University at Albany as a visiting assistant professor. great year, worked with some great students, learned a lot, taught a lot, and importantly—ate a lot of daveshotchicken

course evaluations for my three classes came in and they are….VERY mixed. the positive comments were kind, thoughtful, and sometimes just funny. but reading the negative comments made me feel like we weren’t even in the same classroom. can anyone relate?
