Film is a visual medium. If you can convey good visuals and do your story in a visual style then by definition you are a good storyteller

We have documented history of WB playing pretend with DC for years even though they were bleeding money but these people taking victory laps. WB only pulls the plug when the stink gets so bad they can't spin it in the press & social media with their soldiers. They never learn.

Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman really did a great job with these two, its get better everytime you rewatch them.

Art isn't a democracy, The vision belongs to us, the artist, the creator, the musicians, the filmmakers, the author. There should be no compromises. Just trust your own vision and instinct. People don't really know what they really wanted until you show it to them.
