Portugal vs. EU Neighbors: • Lower cost of living than Spain, Italy, and France • More sunshine than Germany or the UK • Safer than most Western capitals • Rising creative economy without the noise Portugal is where peace meets potential. Definitely worth considering.

Personally… I lived in the U.S for 11 years, and Colombia for 2. I came back to Portugal in 2024. Most recently I decided to act as a tourist in the country I was born in. What I found reconnected me to the version of myself I lost chasing success abroad.

I sent a patient with sudden back pain, faecal incontinence and numbness down below to A+E for a scan yesterday. Came into work this morning to learn the patient had been sent home by an A+E receptionist without seeing a doctor because "this doesn't sound like an emergency."

“You don’t have a right to inherit money from mummy and daddy that you did nothing to earn.” Lewis Goodall suggests hiking inheritance tax to 100%. This is idiotic. Inheritance tax is a government theft on families and destroys many family businesses.
