The nets selection seems like the selection of a guy that knows his job is as safe as ever. So it looks like Sean can watch Egor as his project for many years.

The nets being the only team with cap space is a positive. Players want the money , the nets should take advantage of that and try to get a player they like. That player can build with the young draft picks for the next 2-3 years and be their vet as they mature.

February will be one decade since the Nets hired Sean Marks. In that decade; - 7 head coach stints (5 different names) - 5 playoff appearances (1 series win) - 327-419 record - 1 drafted All Star (traded before becoming All Star), 4 total All Stars - 1 All-NBA player appearance

The nets are basically the exact same team as last year just replace D’Angelo Russell with Mann and Cam Johnson with Porter Jr. Then adding the 8th pick Egor.

Sean Marks never gets young players back in any of his trades of his vets. Bojan , D’Angelo Russell, Michael Porter Jr. I don’t get it.

Cam Thomas is not worth 30 million but I can see why he is trying to get it, he’s better than a lot of the players nets and Sean Marks were quick to sign to over market contracts x.com/brooklynnetcas…
