Possibly the most important IBD study of the year. Struggling to understand how there are still placebo trials in IBD in 2024. We have to do better.

We know in Crohn’s disease at least that early effective treatment leads to better long term outcomes It’s why I believe no biologic naive patient should risk randomisation to a placebo essentially prolonging their time to effective treatment.
