This research explores Indigenous perspectives on Bimiizii (sea lamprey), an invasive species introduced to the Great Lakes in the mid-1800s. This project will also emphasize relational understandings often absent in mainstream invasion ecology. Way to go, Beth & team!

Going camping this fall? 🏕️🍁 Help our forests by getting firewood at your destination. Insect pests like the spotted lanternfly and emerald ash borer can hide in firewood, allowing them to spread and destroy more forests when moved. 🪵🪲
