Hello and welcome to Grade 1! Children are greeted with a special surprise on their first day of school - the #Schultüte, or 'school cone.' It's filled with toys, chocolates, candies, school supplies, and other goodies to make the first day of school extra sweet.

#ISRGrade3 is reaching out to Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Paul Salopek, who has been walking the world since 2013, retracing the migration routes of early humans. Students have crafted questions on his journey and human migration. We’re excited for his reply! 🌍👣

All of PYP, from Kindergarten 1 to Grade 5, are reading Change Sings and reflecting on what change means to them. Together, they've started building "The Road to Change," which grows each day as students add their ideas. It's a work in progress, just like change itself!
