1/3 Earlier this morning, the family of Israelis being held captive by terror organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip met with His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican as a part of a humanitarian delegation.

A horrific terror attack against innocent people in a Jerusalem 🇮🇱 synagogue on #HolocaustMemorialDay. 8 killed, 10 injured. My thoughts are with the victims' families and loved ones.

Jerusalem: second terror attack in less then 24 hours. Israel Police together with emergency and rescue services evacuated 2 victims of the shooting, a father and son, who are in moderate to serious condition. The terrorist is a 13-year-old resident of East #Jerusalem.

7 innocent Jews were murdered near a synagogue and this is the reaction of Palestinians in Gaza. Abhorrent.

Today Israelis celebrate #TuBishvat 🌳🌸🍊- New Year of the Trees, and our Parliament's 🎂 Favourite customs: planting trees (so important!) and eating fruits (it's a dried fruit bonanza!), like the pomegranate, Rimon in 🇮🇱, and Anor in 🇺🇿, much beloved fruit in both countries ❤️

the Israeli humanitarian delegation to Turkey just landed in Adana 🇹🇷. Together with the rescue teams we will leave soon to the disaster areas where we will begin the rescue operation. "Whosoever saves a single life, saves an entire universe" (Mishnah, Sanhedrin)

For the last 2 days, the Israeli field hospital in #Türkiye have been treating more than 200 people. In the #ICU, our medical staff are tending to 12 patients, including a 4-year-old boy rescued 6 days after the #turkiyeearthquake. Proud of our medical and SAR delegation! 🇹🇷🇮🇱

4 yr old Aras and his mother were rescued following the earthquake in Turkiye. They were treated in different hospitals. Yosefit Moshe, a critical care nurse from Schneider Hospital 🇮🇱 & member of Israel’s humanitarian mission, treated Aras. She held him until he fell asleep ❤️
