Isokon Gallery Open House Festival Very enjoyable afternoon at Isokon building yesterday, met lots of nice people, everyone said it was worth the queue.

Isokon Gallery Open House Festival Lovely to see inside and outside the "Lawn Road Flats" yesterday. That 1934 Bentley 3.5 litre parked on the drive was a nice touch! Thanks also to Leyla Daybelge for her insights on the Pritchards and design Open House Festival

Lovely weekend of modern architecture at Open House Festival - Isokon Flats in Belsize Park, Highpoint in Highgate, and Golden Lane Estate in the City.

So that’s Open House Festival over for another year, thanks to all our visitors for queuing so patiently, we hope you enjoyed it. The good news is the gallery remains open until the end of October, every weekend 11am-4pm, and we remain free.

Interesting to see Annely Juda Fine Art has a Moholy-Nagy exhibition 26 Sept-Nov 2, the catalogue says he “moved to London in 1935, Gropius is also living in London at the time”. Yes, they were living in the same building, ours!

I reviewed Parallel Lives by Maryam Diener, which tells the story of the Soviet spies Ursula Kuczynski and Edith Tudor-Hart, for the Camden New Journal camdennewjournal.co.uk/article/spies-…
