I think it's harder to find a cornerstone D than a standout forward. Look how guys like Hedman, Makar, Hudson, etc. are altering transition game and the PP. This is to me, why Schaeffer needs to be the guy. Yes, the #isles struggle finishing. They can also address that now.

My segmented opinion on the GM search is that I think the #isles need fresh blood and someone who understands where the game is going, which includes some analytics. Darche seems like he has all of that, but not the head honcho experience. Give him a shot.
