Day 2 of Indiana’s Statewide Conference on Inclusive Education! #focusoninclusion

Our students do have an ample amount of time to read. They don’t have enough writing time. We do need to get creative and incorporate writing in to all subject areas during the course of the day. Of course, we need to model what we are looking for when doing this. #INedchat

Q4 Teachers need to have all of these in place when instructing. The checks for understanding are an essential part of the lesson to help the teachers and students adjust what is necessary to make the lesson and learning successful. #INedchat

Q5 Our greatest area of growth has been our adoption of F&P classroom. It has increased our students love of reading and comprehension. We have also focused on SEL which has made some positive changes in our students and staff. All backed by administration. #INedchat

Q6 Just like students, teachers need leaders to model the “why” for them. It goes back to having a clear focus and understanding. More focused PD to demonstrate why it’s worth doing. It’s so important to have our leaders and school teams working together. #INedchat
