one weird thing i've noticed about coding with ai: it's so much harder to get and stay in flow state. vibe coding loses my vibe, coding. prompt... wait... review, prompt... wait... all the waiting inevitably ends up with checking slack/email/x/etc.

I still don’t understand what “winning AI” means for a country at this point. But, whatever it means, it’s better to keep China fat and happy than force them to figure out how to copy fast and effectively.

We are at the point where if you use the right terms in fundraising (“LLM,” “evals,” etc), investors salivate. Reminds me of “web 2.0” and “xmlhttprequest.” Shocking tbh. It’ll revert to caring about creating value soon.
