Voting is difficult I get it. But, how is Isaiah Young not 1st team all OAC? Furthermore, he’s never earned a 1st team honor 1,000pt scorer in only 3 seasons Number 1 in FT% Top 10 in scoring Top 15 FG% (as a guard) On 3rd place team 6 dudes better than him? I don’t buy it.

Today, First Tee of Greater Akron held their 7th Annual Law Enforcement Education Day - better known as Putting with the Police - at Mud Run Gold Course. It was great to see fun, positive, energetic, and educational interactions between our local youth and city law enforcement!

Earlier today, I met with high school students looking to study law and leadership. They asked me a few questions and I told them about the hardships and highlights of working in government.

Some of our city employees stopped downtown at Lock 3's Italian Fest today on their lunch break! They enjoyed food, vendors, and had some good conversations. You still have time to stop by today and tomorrow 11am-8:30pm with fireworks happening at 10pm.

Earlier, we attended the first Akron All In event with Starbucks at House Three Thirty! Thanks to Starbucks, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and tons of other community partners, this event was an awesome example of community collaboration to benefit our youth!
