Thrilled to accept a job offer from HNE Health today, set to continue my medical education as a JMO in 2020. It will be a privilege to start serving a community that has done so much for me over the past five years at University of Newcastle!
Well said Dr Stamp. This is not a ‘new wave’- RACSurgeons campaigning for mandatory seatbelt use in the ‘70s could have been seen at the time as ‘out of their lane’, but we now appreciate it was ground-breaking grassroots health advocacy. #socialjusticeishealth
Recognition isn’t why we become #studentvolunteers, but it is very nice when it happens! Thank you University of Newcastle for the honour, and thank you University of Newcastle Medical Society for the platform.
Our team at Hunter New England in NSW, Australia are very excited to be joining the fray! Data collection week of Oct 12-18 across 12 surgical specialties. Local trainees, JMOs and medical students, email us at [email protected] to find out more and express your interest.
Very excited about Hunter Spartans first published article, featured in the ANZ Journal of Surgery this month. As always, a pleasure and great learning experience working with my collaborative research colleagues around the country. Here’s to many more!
An absolute pleasure! Thank you Australasian Students' Surgical Association (ASSA) for the invitation. I am forever impressed by the standard set by our future leaders in surgery.
Excited to be involved in such an ambitious international collaborative research project, designed here in Australia. Hunter Spartans will be hosting across three HNE sites next month with 20+ med students and JMOs involved 👏🌏🩸
So exciting seeing this project publicly shared after a year of behind-the-scenes development. The OPERAS project group is truly a dream team and it’s been a joy to come together as students and trainees for a common goal. Congratulations TASMAN Collaborative!
To all the physician trainees in my network- I have been lucky enough to be in the orbit of Prof Martin’s generous and authentic leadership. Her whole career has been in service to her community, and her positions are well worth your time this RACP election. Jennifer Martin - Physician and Board Director
Invigorated and informed by my first ASOHNS Annual Scientific Meeting! A highlight was Prof Payal Mukherjee outlining the social and economic impact of poor hearing over a lifetime #ASOHNS2022
