Not science-related, but I went go-karting for the first time ever and somehow placed 3rd out of 17! I don’t even know how to drive—just vibes, speed, and a little accidental chaos (sorry to those I bumped off the track 😆🏎️) PS is it a good CV example of determination? 💪😂

I gave a talk at Pint of Science this year!! 2 anxiety attacks, 1 tequila, 1 espresso martini later... I made it. 😅 Talked liquid biopsies, cell death & early diagnosis. Grateful, tired, buzzing. 7 yrs ago I sat in the crowd—now I’m on stage. Full circle 🫶 #PintOfScience2025

Last week I hosted a journal club+workshop on reading academic papers. We shared challenges, tips, and went through 2 papers together (one for skimming, one for deep reading). It was a great reminder that small shifts (in practice&mentality) can make all work feel more manageable
