I am truly lost for words. Until yesterday, I never thought there would be something that would frighten me of going back to Liverpool after the break. Team mates come and go but not like this. It’s going to be extremely difficult to accept that Diogo won’t be there when we go

Learned this as a teenager after my uncle scolded me severely one time. Now, it is the most likely cause of me scolding my housekeeper (& prolly anyone else who stays with me), and I understand.

You know why developed economies are always happy to give credit? Because it keeps the people productive. You need a house or car? Take credit and buy one. Now you can’t afford to be unproductive and lazy around because you owe money for that quality of life you enjoy.

Let’s get it clear: the salvation of Nigeria does not lie in the hands of the Internally Displaced Politicians (IDPs) who have come together to create the vendetta actualisation vehicle that is ADC. If the two options before the electorate in 2027 end up being ADC and the All

I wrote a Medium piece on this day 4 years ago. I will not be sharing the follow up piece for today because all my reflections are similar to Saul's behavior in 1 Sam 28:6-15. Na very small thing remain! I get you, King Saul. And I simply am not the better man.

When people say things like "I'm wicked o" I never treat it as banter. I treat it as inner awareness subtly asserting itself even though disguised as a joke. Most wicked people are usually weak, insecure and spiteful and they often know it. They signal it. Hoping you treat it

They often resort to "wickedness" as a way to simulate strength, to beef up their insecurity. They think those actions show them as 'strong'. But those who are actually strong practice noblesse oblige, in a way "wicked" people never do.

happy to announce that, I have finally let go of linear expectations when it comes to life. I now pride myself on being able to go for "it" instead- the outcome will always be: learn, win, or pivot.

There was this engineer on my team a while back who was: a good dev, but not the best dev. Got everything done. But had zero ego, a very nice personality, and got along with *everyone* on the team very well. When he joined, the team became... better. Nicer. More balanced.

Spent most of the day shouting, "Can you hear me?" And "I can not hear you clearly." This is exhausting and unsustainable. Mind you, I'm in Maitama/Wuse 2. How people for Ugbikhoko come dey cope?
