Was planning to get up at 2:30am tomorrow so I could catch a flight and be with so many of you at StripMallGuy’s event in nyc. But I won’t be. This evening a major storm blew through, and it appears our home & my office were both struck by lightning. Blew tons of

“Probably $100k of damage,” electrian just told me. Wires fried. No wifi (at a coffee shop to work on claim). No a/c. It’s eery finding all the debris/damage. Blackened switches (fire shot out of them). Fixture trims snapped off and flew across the room. Stuff like that…

The discovery of damage continues. Ruined E bikes, EV chargers, heat pumps, appliances, etc. And while driving to town an hour ago trying to work on claims, etc, a major hail storm hit. Our car was pelted - dents all over. When it rains, it pours. 🌧️
