Direct capture from simulation results of my Salamander core: Looks pretty good. There's a slight problem with the gamma. I'm unsure how it will look in MiSTer. Salamander's RAMDAC uses 2.4k, 4.7k, 10k, 20k, and 40k resistors, and has an analog buffer(OPAMP? not confirmed)

I got my hands on a QMTech #MiSTerFPGA alternative from ZhengYingjie , and had to test it with the JAMMA and JVS Expander - mini review here: irkenlabs.com/qmtech-de10-cl… In summary it's fantastic value and works great!
