It's a jailbreak! Our final Day 1 event from our May IWSA member group trip was a visit to the McConnell’s Distillery at the Crumlin Road Gaol in Belfast. Former cells in the A wing were renovated to incorporate stills, equipment, & tasting rooms. #irishwhiskey

Day 2 journey of IWSA Member trip continued to Bushmills Distillery for afternoon tour & premium tasting experience. Great visit w/special whiskeys in the VIP room. Members took advantage of gift shop & enjoyed a post tour drink in the Bushmills bar before back to Belfast.

Day 3 of our IWSA Member trip brought us to Friend At Hand in Belfast for a private tasting & tour. Members explored the Irish Whiskey museum & collection before a customized tasting of Northern Ireland themed whiskeys & exclusive shop limited editions. Thanks to Jim Ingram!

Day 4 Ireland trip, IWSA members headed east to The Copeland Distillery in Donaghadee. Met w/founder Gareth & distiller Terry for tour & tasting. Great to meet everyone there, learn about their history & plans, & sample a few of their whiskeys featuring chocolate malt. #irishwhiskey

Day 4 Ireland trip at Hinch Distillery for lunch, a tour, & special warehouse whiskey tasting. Our visit coincided w/their first whiskey releases distilled at Hinch, a peated & non-peated single malt. Thanks to Claire for hosting IWSA members on a wonderful experience.
