To mark 75 years of the Council of Europe, law students from across 🇮🇪 are in Strasbourg this week to attend the 12th World Forum for Democracy ✨ To start off, the group are in Dublin today to learn more about the CoE and its role in protecting human rights, democracy, and rule of law 🇪🇺

Today our group of visiting students got to tour the Council of Europe, meeting representatives from the Council of Europe, the @VeniceComm, and Ireland’s Permanent Representation to the Council, as well as attending sessions of the #CoE_WFD 🇪🇺

This morning, Ambassador Doyle, in her capacity as Chair of the democracy group GR-DEM, chaired a panel at the @WFD on fighting the erosion of democracy 🗳️
